Low-expansion PU foam fills voids and secures components: cavities around penetrations through the roof, the space beneath window sills and eaves flashings, the junctions of panels with a wall, the fitting of frames. The gun-grade version for precise application and larger quantities, the spray for individual repairs; the cleaner dissolves fresh foam out of the gun and off the tools.
PU foam is neither a waterproofing layer nor a sealant against water: it is not resistant to UV radiation and it absorbs moisture, so it is always covered with sheet or with a sealant. Penetrations through Z275 sheet (EN 10346) are sealed by the EPDM washer of the screw (4.8×16 and 6.3×19) and by MS polymer, not by foam. The properties of the foam apply according to the manufacturer's declaration.
Dampen the substrate — the foam cures with the moisture from the air and from the substrate; shake the cartridge and keep it at room temperature. It is applied to part of the volume because it expands; it is trimmed only after it has cured fully and is covered straight away with sheet or with a coating against UV radiation. The gun is cleaned with the cleaner immediately after work, while the foam has not yet set.

No. PU foam absorbs moisture and breaks down in the sun, so it serves to fill and to secure, not to seal against water. Penetrations through Z275 sheet to EN 10346 are sealed by the EPDM washers of the screws (4.8×16 and 6.3×19) and by MS polymer, and foam beneath a window sill or a flashing always stays covered by sheet.
Gun grade for larger quantities, precise application and repeated use of one cartridge; spray for individual repairs without a tool. Both are low-expansion, so they press less on thin sheet-metal profiles S320GD than a standard foam does. The cleaner is for the gun and for fresh marks.
No — UV radiation breaks down the surface of the foam and it starts to crumble, and it also absorbs moisture. After curing it is trimmed and covered with sheet (a window sill, a flashing) or with a coating; the foam itself does not seal penetrations through the sheet either — that is done by the EPDM washers 4.8×16 and 6.3×19 and by MS polymer.
