Installation and crane work — frequently asked questions
Does Modeco install, or only supply the material?
Both. Modeco supplies sheets, panels, flashings and structures and installs them with its own teams — throughout Croatia, and abroad by arrangement and per project.
How high does the crane reach?
Our own mobile crane works up to a height of 40 m; it is used to unload panels longer than 10 m and to place girders, rafters and frames. The site needs a drivable access road and an area where the crane can be set up.
Can I hire just the crane?
Crane work is offered with an operator — as part of an installation or as a separate service for lifting on your site, subject to date and location.
How long does it take to erect a hall?
For the standard 10 × 30 × 5 m hall, production and foundations run in parallel for 4–10 weeks, and erection of the structure and envelope takes 3–7 weeks; smaller roof or facade jobs take correspondingly less. Dates are set in the quote.
What has to be ready before installation?
Foundations or substructure to the drawing, clear access for lorry and crane, a power connection on site and the building permit. The sequence is agreed in advance with your site manager.
How quickly does a quote for installation arrive?
Within 48–72 working hours of an enquiry stating the location, the scope (area, components) and the date you want — with installation and crane work as separate items.
