The category brings together the connecting and finishing parts of the gutter system: pipe connectors (sockets for downpipes Ø 80, Ø 100 and Ø 120 mm), stop ends to close a gutter of developed width 250, 330 and 417 mm, gutter corners (angles) for joining gutters at a corner of the roof, decorative fans and the omega trim. All come in the colour of the system.
Hanging roof gutters and rainwater downpipes made of metal sheet are covered by EN 612: the standard defines the terminology, shapes, dimensions and requirements for manufacture, not the calculation of capacity. The sheet the part is roll-formed from is continuously hot-dip galvanised steel Z275 (275 g of zinc per m², both sides) to EN 10346, with a factory-applied colour coating.
The pipe connector is slid over the joint of two pipes once the upper one has been pushed into the lower one, so it covers the joint and keeps the pipes in line. The stop end is riveted and sealed at every free end of the gutter before the gutter is set into the brackets; the gutter corner joins two gutters of the same developed width at an angle and is riveted on both sides. Sealing is done with a permanently elastic sealant for sheet metal, not with acid-cure silicone.

The pipe connector (socket) joins two downpipes of the same diameter (Ø 80, Ø 100 and Ø 120 mm): it is slid over the joint and keeps the pipes in line. The joint stays dry because the upper pipe goes into the lower one and the water runs inside.
Yes. Every free end of the gutter is closed with a stop end of the same developed width (250, 330 and 417 mm), riveted and sealed; without one the water runs out at the end of the gutter and soaks the facade. A decorative fan takes the place of the plain stop end where the finish is visible.
With a gutter corner (angle) of the same developed width — Modeco makes it for developed widths 330 and 417. The gutters are cut at an angle, the corner is riveted on both sides and sealed with an elastic sealant; the fall towards the outlet has to be maintained through the corner as well.
As accessories of hanging gutters and downpipes they are covered by EN 612; the sheet is galvanised steel Z275 (275 g of zinc per m²) to EN 10346, colour-coated in the shade of the gutter.
